Another year, another nano
Nov. 30th, 2018 07:50 pmSo, I finished nano with an official wordcount of 51 441, which I'm quite happy with.
I was originally planning to write a sequel to my last finished nano (which was 2016, last year was a bust,) which lasted all of 800 words or so, before fanfic lured me in. I don't actually mind. I managed to get a lot of done, and it was worth it, even if this month garnered one WIP which I actually didn't really need...
Nano, with the two months of nanoprep kedreeva from tumbl has been hosting has really gotten me back to writing regularly, and just grinding the words out, which has been great. I think I might take a little bit easier in December, maybe, depending on my working situation, but I intend to polish the nearly done chapter I have of KISAA, at least, and I'm also hoping to finish writing at least one of my new drarry WIP's, the other I only started in October and the other is from November. There's also my holiday fics to finish, although my happy hobbit holiday fic mostly just needs some polishing.
I think I ould easily keep up a regular pace of around 1000 words a day, even with work, but December is a yawning waste-land of uneployment at the moment, so I could do more than that, and still get all my holiday preparations done.
