I did it! 50K! In my second language! 50K anyway! Wheeee!
Thank you all for the support when I felt I couldn't do it. After reaching this, I can resume fandom life after recuperation. Won't take a break from writing all that much because... why would I? 50K dammit!

My last years nano boys were a lot easier to write than the two I've had to deal with this year round. They're even more impossible than my Socnoc girls! *sigh* Why do I get the urgent need to want to strangle said fictional creations? I'm so near already and yet it feel so far away. Gonna bump my wordcount to at least as high as 47K before bed so I don't have to worry so much. I think possibly one scene more, maybe two and then I'm done! And then I can do fanfic.

I'm actually a bit anxious on the fandom front. Won't manage iyhed this week I think, unless I get totally hit by inspiration. The inukaidan Miroku fic needs saving badly, I'm ripping it apart in editing!*sigh* Why oh why are you so conflicting in my head dear pervert? Inuromp might come... Possibly... Unless I already missed the deadline. But I don't think I did.

(And was naughty last night since instead of writing my nano like I should have done I spent hours downloading manga scanlations... I found A Sex therapist, my fave KK manga and simply couldn't let it slide. Currently distracted by reading Koi No Tsubo (re-read) after skimming through Oyaji Hiroimashita (re-read) and one called (*giggle*) Apron de Chousoku ('Sempai is making me dinner in a frilly apron...' 'Sempai! Please stay here and be my housewife!' XD Gotta love it... ) And why do they never use lube? Or proper stretching? *sigh* After I grow confident anough with my abilities in drawing mens naughty bits I'll do one about nothing but stretching and lube....

I'm so happy to have more time to write for the rest of the week since I have no classes until in January. One exam on the 14th but that's it. Yay!\o/

Managed to get back to town even with the slight blizzard outside. Spent the weekend shacked up inside and having a surprisingly pleasant family time. I think the parents are mellowing in old age.^^ All was good except Lilli (my first cat) kept growling at me when I tried to pet her. She doesn't like Nekku being there that much. *sigh*

And despite what mum had said earlier, I ended up doing the English Christmas cake she had the recipe for even after she'd said before she'd do it all by herself. (Happened the last time we had a Christmas cake, too...) But it wasn't such a hassle. I didn't get to eat much of the dough though as the recipe had rum and I don't like the taste or the smell of it (like I don't most alcohol...) I did end up tasting and it wasn't that bad but I still find it a bit unfair that while I ended up making it I'll hardly end up eating it at all... *pouts*

Got my writing for Saturday done before I left yesterday and struggled through what I did today. Which is odd since the scene I did tonight was pwp smut!? Like, WTF?! Can't get writers block at this stage, plz! I'm going to hopefully get back on track with Nanomango (still at 20 pages) tomorrow so I can finish that, at least. Though I think I can push through with Wrimo, make the rest all mushy baby stuff. XD I'm so bad!

Still snowing and blowing outside, miss you all and hope to see more of you once this insanity called Nanowrimo is over in 7 days. Now I'll just watch a little more of Bleach, drink some more chamomille tea and go to bed. Though I should check if my being the opponent to another's lit seminar essay will need any back ground reading in printed form (seminar on Tuesday... ), I hate that I still have to do that. I'm so bad at saying anything critical and all academic sounding and theoretical about someone elses work. And I also simply know that his work will be done first in the seminar session which means it'll invariably last longer (our prof seems to lose track of time and only after the first presentation has lasted for about 50-60 mins of our 90 min seminar time does she seems to notice and will rush us through the second or go on over time...)

And ooh yes, mum referred to me as 'when you're published' during the weekend on passing conversation!^^ Made me feel all giddy. She continued with how she'd be hovering around in my signings when I'm all famous!^^

So I went and I waded through the snow. Revelled in the numbing feel of being so deep in snow your legs turn numb. It was wonderful. Went to the woods nearby and the silence was something else... No sound of traffic save for the silent hum from across the river... White and cold everywhere.

And then I simply couldn't resist the temptation and flopped myself down on the snow just before I passed back into civilization. It was very refreshing. Amazing.

I'm going to appreciate it for as long as we get to enjoy it.

Staying a bit ahead of schedule is a good thing. With nano it priceless and essential even.

The plot is going forward according to plan. There's been developments I'd not thought possible and the rest will depict my couple getting used to the trials and joys of parenting... if they get there. I do hope they will.^^ I've already been so mean to them with death and possession and abuse and the like. *sigh*

I'm proud of Mango. And also a bit worried, my story will not be carrying to 30 pages after all. So after the 20th (page and next Thursday) I'm screwed until I come up with a new plan. (Chapter II of BD-21st is coming together in my head slowly... Must remember to jot things down...)

People repressing memories are a bit hard to write. People in the denial stage of grief are hard to write too, without going over the top with it.

Weil Wrenioth (my MC's evil lord boyfriend) is becoming more... emotional and open than what I'd thought. His personality shifts way too much.

I sometimes think I suck at writing male characters.

I don't like my MC all upset and in denial. Writing him like that is so depressing.

Saw this meme on an lj. The law obviously doesn't concern me since I don't live in the States but if it did I don't know how I would get out of the dark pit of desperation it would sink me into. I claim to not be the marrying type but I do think sometimes of a sweet girl who'd be mine and a wedding day... *sigh*

To commemorate, in its own way, the passing of Prop 8, write slash. Not random PWP sex-slash, but loving committed relationships slash. Two people who love each other deeply and want to be together, to share their lives together, as simple as that.
