I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whew, now I feel somewhat better... I'm depressed because I was supposed to be working on a translation due later today, at noon to be exact, during the week-end but somehow did not get it done. Was incredibly distracted and hormonal. Damn. So now here I am, less than nine hours till the returning of the translation and I should sleep but I won't have the opportunity. Because I know that if I crash down into that oh-so-inviting bed I will not wake in time to go to my folklore class. And I can't rely on my friend to be there, she didn't say she would miss it, though. Well anyways..

I'm also stressed because I didn't sleep well during the weekend anyway.. My roommate woke me up at 11am on Saturday after I was finally able to fall asleep somewhere around five am.. I was planning to sleep at least ten hours, dammit! Grr... Then I went with my friend to the lighting of the decorative lights on the big christmas tree they've propped up before the cathedral. Only it was raining and neither of us had an umberella.. I wasn't quite soaked but freezing and I stood in the shover for over half an hour after to get warm, and then I still shivered a few hours after. And last night I woke up at four am and was completely disoriented for a while after having jumped up from bed for whatever reason.. Must have had a nightmare..

So.. And with the translation. It's turning out to be the worst text I've ever written. Argh..

And now I seem to have removed my 'depressed' avatar.. Nothing goes right anymore!!!

think that a translation takes you near to the cauldron of the wizards of words... you're near magic and doing it to. take erasmus and go to another country. breed a warmer air and you'll see live in another perspective.

in that case, sorry about that... ;-) consider taking Erasmus in a southern country of Europe. Spain, Portugal, Italy, South of France. Good places for hanging loose, eat well and rays of sun bursting in your emotions. :-) rui

Yeah, well thankfully it's over now. I'm probably going to go to Germany or Austria, but it would be really fun to go to Brittany in France, too. I wouldn't like to go somewhere too hot and it would be nice to know the local language.

local language shoudn't be a problem. in that countries english is a second language, specially in Portugal and Italy. and don't be afraid with the hot, it's mild, if we aren't in June, July or August! and there's a plus, you've good writers ready to be discovered. In Portugal: Fernando Pessoa, José Saramago, Al Berto, etc. In Italy: Italo Calvino, Alessandro Baricco. In France, take your peak. In Spain, the same... ok, by now you think i'm a traveler agent, but no. i'm just thinking that you need to bread a air more loose and with more sun, less dark. try and you'll see. try to see this: pt[dot]wikipedia[dot]org/wiki/Porto_Covo. there is in deutsh too. ;-)

Yes I know but I'd really like to deepen my understanding of German as it it my major.(at the moment..) And always when I've thought about it it's always been Germany, England and Japan. Those are all countries where I would like to go as an exchange student. But Japan is quite out there as it's hard to go there as an exchange student I think.

And German is only my third language. XD I'm more fluent in English which I regard as my second language, but I'm not bilingual but I think that would be so cool. Then I can read French but my written French sucks.. And also I know little Japanese and can read Latin with a dictionary. Sorry, rambling..

And I wasn't able to view that link, I think it's broken.
